The 13th Taking Flight Comic Book Show is Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Park Circle Comics and The Sparrow will once again join forces to host the Taking Flight Comic Book Show.

The 13th edition of this event will feature meet and greets with artists, comics for sale, drink specials, and more. The show will be at the Park Circle bar from noon until 5 pm.

Highlights include:

• Artists
  • Tim Showers
  • Zenescope Entertainment artist Grebo Watson
    • Will have special one of a kind covers that will debut at the show
  • Sonic the Hedgehog artist Tracy Yardley
    • Will autograph copies of his brand new Action Lab comic, “Galaxy Man and Cosmic Girl” –  $5
• Park Circle Comics annual clearance sale
  • Comics starting at just $0.10, graphic novels for $5, and up to 50% off of valuable collector comics

The show is free, but there is a suggested donation of $5. The proceeds will benefit Fresh Future Farm, a non-profit addressing food, health, economic and environment disparities in the southern portion of North Charleston. In addition, Holy City Brewing will donate a keg to the event. 100% of those sales will also benefit the aforementioned charity.
