The FollyGras Parade & Festival is Tomorrow
Get those party pants ready! Tomorrow is the annual FollyGras Parade and Street Festival in Folly Beach. The 9th edition of the event will once again showcase the town’s take on Mardi Gras.
This year’s FollyGras includes:
- Festival and Parade
- Live music
- Gaslight Street
- Soul Fish
- The Shakin’ Martinis
- Jordan Igoe
- Ashes of Old Ways
- Nick Clyburn Band
- Crawfish Boil
- Children’s Pet Parade
- Kids activities (in the Dunes Properties parking lot)
- Food
- Drinks
- Art and nonprofit vendors
As usual, the event is free to attend. However, anyone wanting to have an adult beverage in the street, will need to purchase a wristband for $1.
Some important times to keep in mind:
- 9:30 am: Center Street will be closed. Any cars left on the street are subject to towing
- 10:30 am: Float/Vehicle lineup on 1st & 2nd Blocks of W. Arctic Ave
- Noon: Parade Starts
- 1st – All Motor Vehicles (floats, trucks, busses, cars) larger than an LSV
- 2nd – Children & Pets
- 3rd – Skateboards
- 4th – Bicycles
- 5th – Scooters & Mopeds
- 6th – Golf Carts & LSVs
- 1 pm – 5pm: Street Party/Festival
