Mermaids Swim Back to the SC Aquarium this March
Beginning on March 28th, the mermaids of Weeki Wachee Springs State Park in Florida will once again call the South Carolina Aquarium’s Great Ocean Tank home. The group will bring their interactive family-friendly show to the venue through Sunday, April 3rd.
That’s right, the mermaids will swim among hundreds of animals, including 8-foot sharks! Shows will take place at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm daily and are included with general admission to the Aquarium.
The shows include:
- A choreographed routine to musical numbers
- Mermaid-themed activities
- Interactive education stations
- Mermaid meet and greet and photo opportunities
- Dining at the new Sea Turtle Snack Bar
For the first time, a limited number of guests can experience a special date night event call Mermaids & Me, which is designed for all ages. The program features an exclusive performance, meet and greets, and photo opportunities with mermaid on the land. Food (including desserts) will also be served.
