Captain’s Comic Expo Soars into Mt. Pleasant this Weekend

It may not be Comic-Con, but Captain’s Comic Expo is definitely the best event for local comic fans. The 8th Annual Expo begins on Saturday at the Omar Shriner’s Lodge in Mount Pleasant and continues through Sunday.

Here’s a quick look at this year’s schedule and highlights:

• Saturday, February 20th: 10 am until 6 pm
• Sunday, February 21st: 10 am until 5 pm

• Phil Jimenez (DC’s Infinite Crisis, Amazing Spider-Man)
• Babs Tarr (Batgirl & Charleston native)
• Shawn Crystal (Deadpool, Batman Arkham Manor)
• Meghan Hetrick (DC’s Red Thorn)
• Meet Star Wars characters with the 501st Legion
• 1000 sq ft. Art of Akira Exhibit
• Charity Auction (Saturday)
• Costume contest (Sunday)
