Charleston Bookmobile Hosts Authors in the Park on Saturday

This Saturday at 1 pm, pop-up bookstore Itinerant Literate will host an author signing event at the Hampton Park Gazebo.

Their first event of this kind will feature:

• Kwame Alexander
  • Newbery Medal–winning author of “The Crossover”
  • He will also be signing his latest children’s book, “Surf’s Up,” and “Acoustic Rooster and His Barnyard Band”
• Olivia Cole
  • Young adult author of “Panther in the Hive”
  • Will have copies of the sequel, “Rooster’s Garden”
• Brynne Barnes
  • Children’s book author of “Colors of Me”

Itinerant Literate Books was started in April 2015 and has since participated in a number of pop-up market events, including the Butcher & Bee Night Bazaar and several Park Circle Pop-Ups.

Books will be available for purchase at the event, but Itinerant Literate is also accepting pre-orders via their website.
