Update: New HGTV Show Featuring Mt. Pleasant Couple Premieres 5/7

First there was Southern Charm, now there’s Charleston Charm! Although both are Holy City-based reality TV shows, that’s where the similarities end.
The pilot episode of HGTV’s Charleston Charm will premiere on Sunday, March 20th at noon. The show features Ryan and Krystine Edwards, a couple from Mt. Pleasant who have been restoring and enhancing Charleston homes for more than a decade.
During the pilot episode, the Edwards will help new residents renovate a home. A young couple from California will choose among a beachfront property and two historic downtown homes and then the Edwards will complete the makeover.
If the pilot is successful, Charleston Charm could be picked up for a full season (or more). Be sure to set those DVRs!
