Water Missions International Hosts 10th “Walk For Water” on Saturday

This Saturday, Water Missions International, a local charity, will host their 10th annual “Walk For Water” event at Joseph P. Riley, Jr Park. The walk starts at 10:10 am.

The fundraising event will be held in celebration of World Water Day. Participants will gather in the baseball stadium to walk 3.5 miles for those that walk that many miles every day to get water.

Water Mission International is a “nonprofit Christian engineering organization providing sustainable safe water and sanitation solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas.”
