“Vice Principals” Trailer Released; The Charleston-Filmed Series Debuts in July
Updated on 4/19/16
HBO has finally released an official trailer for “Vice Principals,” an upcoming comedy series that was filmed in Charleston and stars Danny McBride.
The comedy show, which is scheduled to debut in July on July 17th at 10:30 pm, was co-created by McBride and Jody Hill, the same duo behind another popular HBO comedy called Eastbound and Down. McBride, Walton Goggins, Busy Philipps, and Shea Whigham are all slated to star in the new program.
According to the network, Vice Principals will “tell the story of a high school and the two people who almost run it.” The half-hour show is scheduled for 18 episodes over two seasons.
The vast majority of filming for Vice Principals took place in the Charleston area, so local viewers are likely to see plenty of familiar places and faces.
