Mex 1 Coastal Cantina to Open in Sullivan’s Island

This summer, Sullivan’s Island will be home to a brand new Mex 1 Coastal Cantina location. The company’s second location will take over the recently closed SALT at Station 22 building.

The original Mex 1 opened in West Ashley in 2012. The restaurant offers Mexican cuisine inspired by the seafood and inland beef that is abundant in the Baja Peninsula of Mexico. Offerings include a variety of tacos, quesadillas, rice bowls, tortas, and fresh salads. They also have a large selection of margaritas.
