15th Annual Plantasia Scheduled for April 15 & 16

The Charleston Horticultural Society’s 15th Annual Plantasia, a plant sale and market, will be held on April 15th and 16th at Old Towne Creek County Park in West Ashley.

This year’s schedule is as follows:

• Friday, April 15th
  • 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Plantasia Eve Party
  • Tickets: $35
  • Attendees will have first access to purchasing plants
  • Live bluegrass music from Yee Haw Junction
  • Bites from Salthouse
  • Specialty Plantasia cocktail by Firefly Distillery
  • 2nd Annual Iron Trowel live window box design competition
  • George Hyams of Hyams Garden Center will be honored
• Saturday, April 16th
  • 8 am – 4 pm: Plantasia Sale
  • FREE admission
  • “Unusual and cutting edge plants”
  • Garden vendors
  • Live garden and cooking demos
  • Educational resources
  • Farmers selling fresh produce
  • Master Gardeners on site to provide garden advice and suggestions
  • Food trucks
