The Charleston Veggie Crawl Debuts in May
Over the years, Charleston has been home to so many “crawls” – pub crawls, dishcrawls, a small plate crawl, soft-shell crab crawls, etc. – you’d think there couldn’t possibly be a unique option left. Well, there is…
Beginning next month, residents and visitors will all be able to embark on the Charleston Veggie Crawl, a walking food tour presented by The Kale Whale, a “plant-powered” lifestyle blog. The crawl will introduce attendees to fresh, local plant-based cuisine found in numerous downtown restaurants.
The tour will include food samplings at 4-5 restaurants in the Spring/President Street area, an informational packet, and a walk through an up-and-coming section of the peninsula.
Beginning on May 14th, tours will take place every Saturday from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Information and tickets can be found at www.thekalewhale.com/events.
