2016 Mother’s Day Events in Charleston

Looking for some Mother’s Day plans? Look below for a few options (check back for updates). Unless noted otherwise, all events are taking place on Sunday:

• The Alley
  • 11 am – 10 pm
    • The whole family bowls one free game as long as they bring mom with them
    • Mom and dad get $3 mimosas and Bloody Mary’s until 5 pm.
• Bay Street Biergarten
  • 11 am – 3 pm: Brunch
    • Every mom who walks in the door will get their first mimosa for free
• Caviar & Bananas
  • 9 am: Brunch
    • Menu items include: Lemon Oatmeal Pancakes with warm cherry compote; Veggie & Eggs Benedict with vegetable-quinoa cake, wilted spinach, and fresh herb hollandaise; or the Weekend Fried egg Sandwich with seared prosciutto and roasted tomato marmalade
• Crave
  • Both Saturday and Sunday
  • Brunch: 10 am – 4 pm
  • Dinner: 5 pm
• Fish Restaurant
  • 11 am – 2 pm: #MamaWantsAMimosa: Mother’s Day Toast
    • All mothers receive a complimentary mimosa, topped with strawberry-champagne sorbet made in-house by the Fish pastry team
• Mercantile & Mash
  • “Cookies and Cocktails” (Saturday)
  • Kids are invited to decorate two cookies while mothers sip on a delicious cocktail, all for $12. Additional cookies are $5

• Shem Creek Bar and Grill
  • 11 am: Brunch
  • Menu features Fried Green Tomato Benedict, The Seafood Omelet, French Toast g new Maymosa from a line of unique mimosa cocktails featured during the month of May. Mom will love the Frozen Madras made with Champagne, frozen orange juice, cream and vanilla vodka and the guys can enjoy the new MANmosa’s made with Shocktop ale, fresh squeezed orange juice and triple sec.
• Sol Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar
  • 10 am – 3 pm: Brunch
  • Menu features Huevos Rancheros, Avocado Toast, Fried Green Tomato BLT, Avocado Egg White Tacos, Endless Mimosas, Tequila SOLrise, and three different types of Bloody Mary’s
• South Carolina Aquarium
  • Mothers will receive complimentary admission with each paying guest or child
• Tavern & Table
  • 11 am – 3 pm: 2nd Mother’s Day Brunch + Just Ducky Fundraiser
  • 1:3o pm: Rubber Duck race
    • Rubber Ducks are $50 a piece; 100% of the proceeds go towards women’s cancer research at Hollings Cancer Center
    • Winning duck receives $250 in gift certificates to Red’s and $300 in gift certificates to Tavern & Table
