Sol Using Kitchen Karma to Benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Starting on May 31st, Sol Southwest Kitchen and Tequila Bar will donate $1 from the sale of each Grilled Romaine Salad and Roasted Blueberry & Basil Margarita to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s South Carolina Chapter.
Each month, the restaurant selects a charity to benefit from its Kitchen Karma fundraising program. This month’s proceeds will directly support the MUSC Cystic Fibrosis Care Center, which provides an interdisciplinary approach for complete cystic fibrosis care.
The inspiration for this month’s partnership came from 9-year old Maggie Faye who has Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Last year, Maggie’s younger sister Ellie raised over $600 selling lemonade for CF. To honor Maggie and her sister, SOL will be adding “Ellie’s Strawberry Lemonade” to their children’s menu and will donate 100% of its proceeds to CF.
