Little Chef, Big Chef Takes Over High Cotton on Sept. 19
Louie’s Kids will hold their 8th Annual “Little Chef Big Chef” event at High Cotton on Monday, September 19th at 7 pm. The fundraiser will once again feature five of Charleston’s most celebrated chefs.
The event will pair each chef with a child associated with the Louie’s Kids organization. Each tandem then creates a dish together, which will be served to the attendees. The entire challenge focuses on healthy cooking while raising money for the charity. Each course will be accompanied by a wine and beer pairing.
This year’s chefs are Shawn Kelly of High Cotton, Michelle Weaver of Charleston Grill, Graham Dailey from Peninsula Grill, three-time James Beard award nominee Jeremiah Bacon of The Macintosh, and Michael Toscano from Le Farfalle.
Tickets are available for $175 per person (excludes gratuity). Advance tickets can be reserved by calling High Cotton directly at (843) 724-3815. Purchasing tickets early is strongly encouraged, as space is limited.
Proceeds from the event benefit Louie’s Kids, a national nonprofit treating childhood obesity through promotion of a healthier more productive lifestyle.
