The 15th Taking Flight Comic Book Show is this Saturday

This Saturday, Park Circle Comics and The Sparrow will once again join forces to host the Taking Flight Comic Book Show.

The 15th edition of this event will feature thousands of comics, graphic novels, and, for the first time ever, a selection of vintage toys. The show will be at the Park Circle bar from noon until 5 pm.

Other highlights include:

• Aaron Hazouri 
  • Artist from Strange Adventures of Toaster Guy and Absurd!
• Charles Drake and Matari Bain 
  • Both have originals and prints for sale
• All three artists will sign autographs, do sketches and take commissions

The show is free, but vendors will be taking donations for Hero Initiative, which creates a financial safety net for comic creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work.
