This year’s party will once again be held at the Visitor Center Bus Shed on Ann Street and will include authentic German food, games, beer, and polka music.

The festival is sponsored by Sam Adams so guests can expect several beer-tasting tents from the Boston Brewery.

Festival-goers will also be able to watch the popular Stein Hoisting Competition, an event that tests the mental and physical strength of its contestants. Each competitor competes to see who can hold a 34 oz. stein filled with Octoberfest the longest without spilling, bending their elbow, or leaning their back. The winner will receive prizes and a spot in the final round of the Stein Hoisting Competition to beheld at Bay Street Biergarten on September 25th.

This year’s tickets are ALL INCLUSIVE, which means beer samples, food samplings, and a commemorative mug are all included. Early bird tickets are $35 and will be available until September 1st. The price jumps to $45 after that date.
