Battery Host “Punts & Pints” this Saturday

Everyone knows that sports and beer go together, but you can’t always grab a tasty craft brew at the stadium. This Saturday, the Charleston Battery will buck that trend with “Punts & Pints.”

While the Battery take on FC Montreal, fans (of legal drinking age, of course) can enjoy beers and bites from the following:

• Holy City Brewing
• Cooper River Brewing Company
• The Frothy Beard Brewing Company
• Lagunitas Brewing Company
• Roti Rolls
• Avila Venezuelan Cuisine

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy live music by BuzzRun, cornhole competitions, and the chance to play FIFA on the video board. Doors open at 6 pm.

Advance tickets are $15 and available here. Admission includes early entry into the game  and one craft beer (must purchase before 4 pm on 8/13).
