The SC Aquarium’s Inaugural Turtle Trek 5K will be held on September 10th
The South Carolina Aquarium will host the inaugural Turtle Trek 5K, a sunset beach run/walk, on September 10th on Isle of Palms. There will also be a kids’ fun run on the beach.
All proceeds from the Turtle Trek will support the construction of the new Sea Turtle Recovery exhibit. The exhibit, which is part of the Aquarium’s Sea Turtle Care Center, will show the journey each of the Aquarium’s sea turtles experience – from rescue to release.
The Turtle Trek will be followed by an after-party at The Windjammer.
