Brown Water Society’s 3rd Annual BBQ Invitational Set for 10/2

The Charleston Brown Water Society (CBWS) brings back their BBQ Invitational on Sunday, October 2nd. The “whiskey-focused, non-profit” organization will host the third annual party at the Charleston Rifle Club from noon until 6 pm.

This year’s event will include tasty BBQ options from pit masters from around the South (NC, SC, GA, and TX ), side dishes from Spero, whiskey stations, beer, and live music.

Attendees can expect food from:

• B’s Crackling BBQ
• Sam Jones from Skylight Inn
• Wayne Mueller from Mueller’s BBQ
• Spero
• Swig and Swine
• Rodney Scott Bar-B-Que
• Lewis BBQ (CBWS members only, limited servings)

Meanwhile, drinks will be provided by:

• Smooth Ambler
• Jefferson’s
• Corsair
• Virgil Kane
• Holy City Brewing
• Revelry Brewing Co.
• Wild Turkey Rare Breed for the Toast (CBWS members only)

The event costs $40 per person and includes entry plus five vouchers to be used for food and drink. Additional vouchers are available to purchase for $5 each at event. Tickets may be purchased here.
