Evacuation Orders Lifted By Gov. Haley

During a Sunday  morning press conference, Gov. Nikki Haley said she requested that the evacuation order for the following counties be lifted: Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester and Colleton Counties. The Colleton County evacuation life does NOT include Edisto Beach).

In the same press conference, the SCDOT secretary said all interstates in South Carolina are open (Update:  SCEMD says you are not allowed to get on I-26 East from 95). There will NOT be any lane reversals.

If you’re on your way home, prepare for long waits and watch out for utility works and police that will be on the roads. Be patient and be safe!
