Get a Taste of The Caribbean on 10/29 with Rum Rootz

On Saturday, October 29th, Holy City  residents can enjoy a taste of the Caribbean with Rum Rootz, an event celebrating the exciting rums of Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Pusser’s from Guyana and Trinidad. The fun at the Charleston Maritime Center begins at 5 pm.

The celebration will include:

• Caribbean food
• Beer from Jamaica and Barbados
• Coffee from Jamaica
• Rum cake made from Pusser’s rum
• Live music and performers
  • Reggae Music by Lance Starr Reggae Band
• Halloween Costume Contest
  • $75 for the Best Pirate Outfit
  • $75.00 for the Best Overall Halloween Costume

PIRATE  ADMISSION $35.00:

• Ten (10) Rum drink tickets.
• Sipping Rum Samples (15ml/1/2 oz.)
• Rum cocktail samples (2ozs)
• Food sold separately

CARIBBEAN PARADISE VIP ADMISSION $50.00:

• Entry into the event 1 hour early (4 pm)
• Exclusive entry into the upstairs cabana
• Complimentary Jamaican Food by Reggae Grill

• Premium Rum Samples
• Access to downstairs activities
