Charleston Coffee Cup Brews Third Annual Event
On Sunday, November 13th, caffeine junkies will find themselves in heaven if they attend the 3rd annual Charleston Coffee Cup at the Memminger Auditorium. The event will run from 10 am until 3 pm.The Charleston Coffee Cup is a family fun event featuring competitions, demonstrations, kids activities, coffee art, brunch, and a bar by Kudu and Pancito + Lefty.
Over 20 roasters from the Southeast will be on site to compete for the best roast. They will each give out samples in 3-oz. Le Creuset mugs, which each guest will receive with their ticket purchase.
There will also be a latte art competition where the winner takes home $500. In addition, a bonus non dairy latte art round will take place. sponsored by Pacific Foods/Barista Series. Winner of this round takes him $200 and the runner up $100.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Student/Senior/Military tickets are $12 in advance or $17 at the door. A portion of this year’s proceeds will be donated to Lowcountry AIDs Services.
