THAT Holiday Book Sale Returns on 12/2
Looking for some extra (and inexpensive) stocking stuffers this Christmas? Then a good place to shop may be THAT Holiday Book Sale hosted by the Charleston Friends of the Library. The event will take place on Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Library.
Books, CDs, and DVDs will all be on sale during the annual sale. Book items include mysteries, classics, large print, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks and a variety of non-fiction topics Prices start at just $0.50, so you could easily stock up on gifts for friends and family.
In addition, ornaments will be available for $10. They are made from books rescued from the recycling bin.
Here is this year’s schedule:
- Friday, December 2nd: 9 am – 5:30 pm
- Saturday, December 3rd: 9 am – 4 pm
A special Member Event for Friends of the Library members will be held on the evening of Thursday, December 1st (5 pm – 7:30 pm).
The Mt. Pleasant Regional Library is located at 1133 Mathis Ferry Road.
The Charleston Friends of the Library is a non-profit volunteer organization that raises money through book sales to help fund Library services, equipment, training, materials and public programming. The Friends collect and sort donated books for resale to raise money. That Holiday Book Sale is one of five book sales held throughout the year by the Friends.
