leftoverssAs you can imagine, Holy City Sinner gets inundated with press releases and information – especially from the food and beverage community. I created the “Leftovers” series to ensure I could share as much food and bev news as possible.

  1. During the month of November, Shem Creek Bar and Grill will donate $1 from every dessert sold to benefit prostate cancer.
  2. It’s NovemBURGER at Bohemian Bull. Box and Jessie from 105.5 The Bridge combined their favorite ingredients to make their own specialty burgers. One dollar from each Box burger sale will go to Movember Foundation USA and $1 from each Jessie B burger sale will go to Girls Rock Charleston.
  3. From now through the end of the year, SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar will be partnering with local charity organization East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO) to raise money through the restaurant’s Kitchen Karma program. ECCO strives to eliminate poverty in the East Cooper region by offering basic needs, health services and empowerment programs. The funds raised through Kitchen Karma will help ECCO to provide local families with emergency support for food, clothing, and financial assistance, along with ongoing  access to dental care, medical care and educational opportunities. Through its Kitchen Karma program, SOL partners with a local charity organization for a period of about six to eight weeks, and donates $1 from every featured Kitchen Karma menu item sold in that time period to the partnering charity. The featured items for the ECCO partnership include the Cranberry Spice Margarita and the Steak Skewers.
  4. FILL Restaurant and Piano Bar has launched a new special. Every Thursday through the end of the year, customers can enjoy 3 courses for $30 (per person)! Guests can pick one appetizer, one entree, and a dessert. Call (843) 800- 3042 with any questions.

  5. Ms. Rose’s Fine Food & Cocktails has welcomed a new chef to the kitchen – Executive Chef Matthew Paul.
