The Gin Joint Transforms into Holiday Pop-Up Bar for One Month
This holiday season, The Gin Joint will transform into Miracle, an over-the-top holiday themed pop-up bar. The switch-up will run from November 25th through Christmas Eve.
During that time frame, patrons will be greeted by kitschy holiday decor, Christmas lights, themed cocktails, Christmas cookies, and Chex Mix.
The pop-up concept was launched in 2014 by Greg Boem, the owner of a New York City cocktail bar. This year, Miracle HAS expanded its concept across the globe, partnering with more than 30 other bars worldwide to recreate the original concept. Other Miracle pop-ups can be found in Montreal, London, Paris, Los Angeles, Seattle, and more. The Gin Joint will be the only location in South Carolina this year.
The season cocktail menu will feature festive drinks with names like Santa-quila, Christmapolitan, and Muletide, served over snow balls, in Santa mugs, or perhaps garnished with pine needles.
The month-long Miracle pop-up will be the first time in Gin Joint history that the bar will have vodka on its menu. The Gin Joint only serves pre-Prohibition era spirits, and vodka wasn’t widely available in the U.S. at that time.
Miracle will be open during The Gin Joint’s normal business hours.
