5Church Matching Donations to MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital
This holiday season, 5Church restaurant will team up with the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) to help build the new MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, guests of 5Church will have the opportunity to donate to the MUSC Children’s Hospital when they sign their bills. As part of CMN’s “Put Your Money Where the Miracles Are,” campaign, 5Church will match these customer donations.
The new MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital is being built from the ground up and is set to open at Calhoun Street and Courtenay Drive in 2019. It will feature more patient rooms, expanded services, integrated care, new technologies, and greater comfort.
The hospital is named after Shawn Jenkins, co-founder and chief executive officer of Benefitfocus Inc., who donated $25 million – of the estimated $385 needed – to the hospital
