Inaugural Lowcountry Irish Fest Scheduled for February
This coming February, Lowcountry residents and visitors are invited to a two-day, family-friendly Irish Festival in Mount Pleasant.Organizers say the goal of the inaugural Lowcountry Irish Festival is to bring South Carolina’s Irish and Celtic communities together in Charleston for a unified celebration of heritage.
The festivities take place on Saturday, February 11th and Sunday February 12th at the Omar Shriners Auditorium. The festival includes:
- Authentic Irish music and food
- Irish dancing
- Children’s activities
- Historical stories
- After parties
