Pancito and Lefty & La Morra Pizzeria Team-up for Charity Pop-Up

On Thursday, soon-to-be-open restaurant Pancito & Lefty and mobile pizzeria La Morra will take part in the “ultimate street fight” for charity.

The two local businesses will meet at Kudu Coffee and Craft beer for a “Battle Royale” benefiting CodeOn, a program helping local kids learn to code who don’t otherwise have access to computers and technology teaching. The group is run by Charleston Women in Tech.

Chefs Robert Berry (P&L) and Zach Swemle (La Morra) will offer attendees Mexican-Italian dishes cooked in La Morra Pizzeria’s wood oven. Cocktails will also be available for purchase. The event runs from 5 pm to 9 pm.
