Folly Beach Rings In the New Year with Flip Flop Drop and Fireworks Show
Tonight, Folly Beach will celebrate New Year’s Eve in the most Folly way possible – their annual Flip Flop Drop and Fireworks show.
The Flip Flop Drop is Folly’s re-imagining of the Times Square ball drop. Center Street closes to vehicle traffic around 11 pm and revelers are welcome to gather in the street to watch a giant pair of sparkly flip flops descend to mark the New Year.
The Drop will be followed immediately by a fireworks show to be shot from the beach.
