Junior League of Charleston Hosts “Whale of a Sale” This Month
The Junior League of Charleston’s (JLC) “Whale of a Sale,” a big garage sale, will be held from February 16th to the 18th at the College Center at Trident Technical College in North Charleston.
For the first time in the 42-year history of the event, the Thursday “Sponsor Splash” is open to the public. On the 16th, early shoppers can enjoy hors d’oeuvres, live music, a cash bar, and the greatest selection of items for purchase. Admission on this day is $40.
On Friday, Feb. 17th, admission is $12, while Saturday, February 18th is free. This year’s hours are as follows:
- Thursday – 6 pm to 9 pm
- Friday – 6 pm to 9 pm
- Saturday – 8 am to 1 pm
Proceeds from the event will be used to further the JLC’s mission of training and developing the potential of women, while focusing on helping those in need in the surrounding community.
