Komen Lowcountry Invites You to Swing For The Cure at Wild Dunes
On Saturday, February 18th, The Lowcountry Affiliate of Susan G. Komen will host Swing for the Cure, a weekend fundraising event featuring golf and tennis tournaments, a cocktail reception, and a silent auction. All proceeds will support the fight against breast cancer.
In addition, a kick-off Oyster Roast and BBQ party will be held on Friday, February 17th. Here’s a look at the weekend schedule:
Friday, February 17th
- Oyster Roast and BBQ Party at the Lettered Olive Restaurant and Village Plaza in Wild Dunes
- 6 pm – 8:30 pm
Saturday, February 18th
- Tennis and Golf Tournaments at the Wild Dunes Resort
- 12 pm – 7 pm
- Tennis event is a team competition, but players can register individually
- Each team will have a tennis pro from the Charleston area competing with them
- Prizes will be given throughout the day.
- The 18-hole golf tournament will be held at the newly renovated, Fazio-designed Links Course at Wild Dunes
- Field will be limited to 72 golfers
- Tennis event is a team competition, but players can register individually
- Followed by a cocktail reception and a silent auction
- 12 pm – 7 pm
Costs
- Tennis Tournament only – $100
- Tennis Tournament and Oyster Roast/BBQ – $125
- Golf Tournament only- $100
- Golf Tournament and Oyster Roast/BBQ – $125
