Internationally Acclaimed Guests to Perform with Chamber Music Charleston

Internationally acclaimed violinist Jennifer Frautschi and cellist Edward Arron will join musicians of Chamber Music Charleston for a program of music at the Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul on Sunday, February 26th at 3 pm.

Here’s some background on each of the musicians:

  • Frautschi is a two-time Grammy nominee and Avery Fisher career grant recipient
  • In 2013, Arron completed a ten-year residency as the artistic director of the critically acclaimed Metropolitan Museum Artists in Concert

The pair will join musicians of Chamber Music Charleston in a program featuring Edward Elgar’s “Romance” for bassoon and strings and Brahms Sextet in G Major, Op. 36.

Chamber Music Charleston (CMC) is the region’s only nonprofit arts organization devoted to the presentation of classical chamber music concerts year round.  Since its beginning in 2006, CMC has presented over 65 annual concerts. CMC’s 10th Anniversary Season concludes with a return performance at New York City’s historic Carnegie Hall on May 4th, 2017.
