Slightly Stoopid Returns to Riverfront Park this June
On Friday, June 23rd reggae group Slightly Stoopid will bring their “Sounds of Summer” tour to Riverfront Park in North Charleston. Iration, J Boog, and The Movement will also perform.
Doors open at 5 pm and is open to all ages. The general public on-sale will take place at Friday, March 10th at 10 am. Click here for ticket information.
Slightly Stoopid has released twelve studio albums, including the most recent record, Meanwhile… Back at the Lab. The album has been lauded for the group’s multi-instrumental, cross-genre blend of rock, reggae, folk, and blues with hip-hop, punk, and funk elements.
The band consists of multi-instrumentalists and founding members Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty, drummer Ryan “Rymo” Moran, saxophonist Daniel “Dela” Delacruz, keyboardist Paul Wolstencroft, and trumpet and trombone player Andy Geib. The group will also be joined by special guest and “unofficial eighth member” Karl Denson on saxophone.
