Lowcountry Cajun Festival Returns for its 26th Straight Year
The annual Lowcountry Cajun Festival is just around the corner! The James Island County Park will host the 26th edition of the event on Sunday, April 2nd from noon until 6 pm.
The party will feature Zydeco music, Cajun/Creole food (jambalaya, alligator, etouffee, andouille sausage, crawfish, etc.), children’s activities, entertainment, festival foods, a crawfish-eating contest, a crafts market, souvenirs for sale, mechanical and inflatable rides for kids, and more.
Food vendors operate on a ticket basis. Credit cards are accepted at select locations but attendees are encouraged to bring cash for convenience purposes.
Live Zydeco music will be provided by Feufollet and Cedryl Ballou & the Zydeco Trendsetters.
The event is $15 per person, but free for Gold Pass Members and children under the age of 13 (with a paying adult). Pets are not allowed at this event. For more information, click here
No coolers or outside alcohol permitted. Carpooling is highly encouraged. Pets are not permitted to this event. The dog park at James Island County Park will be closed on April 2nd in order to host the festival.
