Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! Charleston Honey & Bee Expo is Sunday

The 6th Annual Charleston Honey & Bee Expo will be held this Sunday at Cinebarre in Mount Pleasant from 11 am until 4 pm. This free, family-friendly event should be a fun way to close out the Cooper River Bridge Run weekend.

The expo will include:

• Local honey for purchase
• Free honey tastings
• Honey Cotton Candy
• The chance to learn more about bees and what you can do to help save them
• Local beekeepers
• An observation hive with live bees
• “Ask a Master Gardener” booth
  • Meet experts
• Free displays
• Food Trucks providing menu items utilizing local honey
• Mead-making: sample wine made from local honey
• Guest Speakers and presentations
