Farmers Market Season Has Returned

Spring has sprung in Charleston, which means its time for residents to flock to the local Farmers Markets. There’s certainly no shortage of options, so no matter where you live, you shouldn’t have to venture far to get some fresh fruits and veggies.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Holy City’s Farmers Markets (list alphabetically):

  • Charleston Farmers Market
    • Open Saturdays from 8 am until 2 pm in Marion Square
    • Runs from April 8th until November 25th
    • Farmers, food trucks, artisans, crafts, performers, arts
    • Additional Sunday markets held during the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in May and June
    • Holiday Markets held on Saturdays and Sundays in December

  • Folly Beach Farmers Market
    • Open Mondays from 4 pm to 8 pm in Folly River Park on Center Street
    • Opens April 6th
    • Local farmers and artisans. The Folly Beach Farmer’s Market is a fun event for all ages with awesome live music, kids activities & food. We are committed to supporting our local organic farms and artisans as well as educating and giving back by hosting a different charity each week,

  • Goose Creek Farmers Market

  • Johns Island Farmers Market
    • Open every Saturday (year round) from 10 am until 2 pm
    • Located on the Charleston Collegiate campus at 2024 Academy Road in Johns Island

  • Moncks Corner Farmers Market
    • Open Thursdays from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Moncks Corner Regional Recreation Complex
      (418 E Main St).

  • Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market
    • Open Tuesdays from 3:30 pm until 7 pm in the Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market Pavilion on the Moultrie Middle School property (645 Coleman Blvd)
    • Runs April to September
    • Farmers, flowers, local seafood, fresh-cooked meals, baked and canned goods, live music, family-friendly activities, Clemson Extension Master Gardeners, community info
    • Holiday Market & Festival will be held on Saturday, December 9th

  • Nano Farmers Market
    • Opens Thursdays at 1444 Folly Road (across from Pet Helpers)
    • Hours: 4 pm to 7 pm

  • North Charleston Farmers Market
    • Open Thursdays from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Felix C. Davis Community Center (4800 Park Circle)
    • From May 4th through October 26th
    • Farmers, art and craft vendors, food trucks, specialty foods, kid’s activities, live music (4:30 pm to 6:30 pm)

  • Summerville Farmers Market
    • Open Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm in the First Citizens Bank parking lot behind Town Hall (200 South Main Street)
    • April through December
    • Farmers, meats, seafood, baked goods, and live music (in the Market Café from 10 am to 1 pm)

    • Open Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm
