Workshop and Its Six Eateries Open Monday

Workshop, the “fancy food court” led by Butcher & Bee owner Michael Shemtov and Chef Jonathan Ory, will officially open on Monday, May 1st at 1503 King Street. The business will feature a shared kitchen and dining space with a rotating roster of chef-driven restaurant concepts.

The initial lineup of tenants at Workshop include:

  • Bad Wolf Coffee
    • An all-day café serving Four Barrell Coffee, house-made pastries, wine, and small plates from Chef Ory
  • JD Loves Cheese
    • Grilled cheese, soup, and salad collaboration between Butcher & Bee executive pastry chef Cynthia Wong and her husband, JD Harmon, a wine professional

    • A “Tex and Mex” concept from pitmaster John Lewis

    • A “vegetable-forward Korean cuisine” by Chef Ory
    • Cold noodles, soups and broths, grilled and chilled meats

    • Eatery based on chef/owner Thai Phi’s Vietnamese food truck

Hours of operation will be Sunday to Wednesday from 11 am to 9 pm and Thursday to Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm (Bad Wolf Coffee will open at 7 am daily).
