Three Holy City restaurants will be featured Friday night in a Charleston-based episode of The Food Network’s Ginormous Food series. The episode, “Crunchy Cheesy Charleston,” airs at 8 pm.

Recorded back in March, the episode chronicles comedian and host Josh Denny’s visit to the Lowcountry. During his stay, Denny stopped at Kitchen 208 to try their sixteen-inch high chicken and waffle; ordered Mex 1 Coastal Cantina’s Big Papa Nachos; and sampled Sesame Burgers and Beer’s five-pound, nine-inch high burger featuring chili cheese fries, bacon, and chipotle cream sauce.

If you miss Friday night’s airing, the episode will be re-brodcast at the following times:

  • Saturday, May 13th at 3 am
  • Friday, May 26th at 8:30 pm
  • Saturday, May 27th at 6 pm and 3:30 am
