On Purpose Adventures Partners with Nature Adventure Outfitters
Adventure-seekers now have a one-stop shop in Charleston. On Purpose Adventures today announced a partnership with Nature Adventure Outfitters (NAO), a move owner Ben Toy calls “a steroid shot” for both businesses.
NAO will continue to operate in the Francis Marion National Forest and Nature Adventures (managed by the Toys) will serve as a sister company in the Shem Creek/Mount Pleasant and ACE Basin markets, where operations will not only continue, but expand as well.
Toy and his wife Dana are now the majority partners, but Nature Adventure’s original owner, Kathie Livingston, will remain with the company.
Bubble Soccer
Livingston wanted to sell Nature Adventure Outfitters to someone who would put their blood, sweat, and tears into the business, and she certainly found that match in the Toys. The two companies have worked together for the last four years, so Livingston knew this was the right fit.
If you’ve ever met the Toys and/or participated in one of their events, you know how boundless their collective energy is and how passionate they are about what they do. Besides their normal day-to-day activities, On Purpose Adventures was also behind successful and popular events like the Month of Man.
