On Friday, June 2nd, Garden & Gun will host a conversation and book signing with writer John T. Edge at the magazine’s offices inside The Cigar Factory.
Edge, the director of the Southern Foodways Alliance at the University of Mississippi, and David DiBenedetto, Garden & Gun editor in chief, will discuss the new book, The Potlikker Pappers: A Food History of the Modern South. The book tells the story of Southern food and how it became a culinary language for the nation.
Preceding the conversation, there will be a meet and greet with the author, as well as the opportunity to purchase a signed book. Cocktails will be provided by Bristow Gin.
