Enjoy Tacos with Salsa Dancing at Thursday’s Aquarium After Hours Event

Dim the lights and break out the romantic candles, because it’s once again time for the South Carolina Aquarium…after dark. The theme for the latest edition of the Aquarium After Hours series is “Tacos with Salsa.”

Designed for adults (ages 21+ strongly encouraged), the event will feature:

• Food
  • Guests may purchase tacos with an Asian twist from Dashi and popsicles from King of Pops
• Dancing
  • Learn how to salsa dance with lessons on the Harbor Overlook courtesy of Holy City Salsa Dance Studio
• Drinks
• Educational and entertaining programs led by Aquarium team members
  • Dive show in the Great Ocean Tan
  • Animal encounter
  • “Taco ‘Bout Sustainability” highlighting how you can enjoy seafood responsibly
• Access to the entire Aquarium
  • Includes the newest experience, the Zucker Family Sea Turtle Recovery
    • Because sea turtles are sensitive to light, shades will be drawn at sunset (approximately 8:29 pm)

Admission for the evening is $15.  Tickets may be purchased at the gate on the evening of June 15 or in advance at scaquarium.org. Aquarium members enjoy free entry. The event runs from 5 pm to 10 pm.
