Crave Announces New Shem Creek Restaurant The Mill Street Tavern
Crave Kitchen & Cocktails and The Mac Daddy Food Truck today announced their newest venture, The Mill Street Tavern, will open on Mount Pleasant’s Shem Creek this July. The restaurant will be located at 508-B Mill Street next to Shem Creek Bar & Grill.
Housed near the site of the “Greenwich Mill,” the first tidal mill in the world, guests will see a recreated mill as they approach the property and period artifacts via see-through panels in the main dining area. There will also be wall-to-wall windows and a rooftop deck offering views of Shem Creek.
Designed by Crave’s executive chef Landen Ganstrom, The Mill Street Tavern’s menu will feature “Lowcountry favorites and weekly specials, highlighting local ingredients and flavors.”
The Mill Street Tavern will be open seven days a week – from 7 am to 2 am – for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy hour.
