Explore Charleston Launches New Locals Program

Explore Charleston recently debuted its new Locals Program, “Home Historic Home,” which invites Charleston area residents to experience the city they call home with special offers on dining, hotels, shopping, and attractions.

A sampling of discounts and offers available to locals include:

• 25 percent off rates at Belmond Charleston Place (Sunday–Thursday)
• 10 percent off rates at The Spectator Hotel
• 40 percent off stays at Wild Dunes Resort (2-3 bedroom condos, Sunday–Thursday)
• 50 percent off tours at Bulldog Tours (Sunday–Thursday)
• 15 percent off admission to Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
• Buy One Get One Free admission to Drayton Hall
• Free Biscuits & Gravy at Toast Charleston (with purchase of one entrée)
• Six free wings with any purchase at Home Team BBQ- West Ashley
• Free Chef’s Bites at Eli’s Table (with purchase of two entrees)
• 10 percent off purchase at Gold Creations

The program is free to join. Charleston residents can register for the “Home Historic Home” program online at www.CHSlocals.com. Offers are for residents of Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties only. Participating businesses may ask the resident for a valid driver’s license to verify local address.
