The Brick Starts Shark Week Celebration on Sunday
On Sunday, July 23rd, The Brick will host a Shark Week launch party starting at 8 pm. The event celebrates the beginning of Discovery’s popular week of shark-focused television programming.Attendees can enjoy:
- A Photo Booth with shark props
- A contest to win a year long membership to the aquarium (2 adults plus children)
- Discovery’s Phelps vs. Shark: Great Gold vs. Great White will be on the bar’s TVs
- Show airs at 8 pm
- Olympian Michael Phelps races a great white shark
In addition, The Brick will be serving the following during the entirety of Shark Week (July 23rd – July 30th):
- Mako Po Boy – Fried Mako shark with lettuce, tomato, and a Narragansett tarter sauce
- Bait Balls – Shrimp and Blue Crab fritters served with remoulade sauces
- Land Shark beer
- Narragansett beer (beer that was drank in Jaws)
