Nonprofit professionals from across the region will convene for a day of learning, networking and idea sharing at the second annual Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) Lowcountry D.I.G. (Develop. Inspire. Grow.) Summit on Tuesday, August 22, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Trident Technical College.

The goal of the annual YNPN Summit is to energize and equip young professionals in the nonprofit sector with the strategies and resources they need to develop, inspire and grow to be effective change-makers in our community.

“In the nonprofit sector, our organizations often don’t have training departments: you have to take control of your own professional development. YNPN Lowcountry’s Summit fills that gap,” said Kat Morgan, Founder, ChangeAbility Solutions LLC. “It’s a great networking and leadership development opportunity. You can bring back what you’ll learn here and add value to your organization while expanding your perspective and skillset.”

Attendees will spend the day with other like-minded nonprofit professionals from the Charleston Tri-County area learning about a variety of thought-provoking topics that affect us in the nonprofit world. This year’s topics include fundraising, donor engagement, personal branding, climbing the nonprofit ladder and more, as well as a keynote presentation by Darrin Goss, President and CEO, Coastal Community Foundation. Roundtable breakout sessions will allow for an engaging learning environment followed by a networking happy hour.

Tickets are $50 for YNPN Lowcountry members and $60 for non-members, and include breakfast, lunch and happy hour. Advance registration is required. For more information and to purchase tickets: www.ynpnlowcountry.org.
