GoFundMe Campaign Created to Benefit Family of the Chef Killed at Virginia’s

A GoFundMe Campaign has been created to benefit the family of Shane Whiddon, the chef who was shot and killed during an incident yesterday at Virginia’s on King. The funds will be donated to his wife and two sons.

The campaign was set up by a family friend and neighbor. Numerous people from Charleston’s food and bev community have vouched for the authenticity of the fundraiser. As of this post, the campaign had raised over $18,000 for the family.
