Get Your Passport to Cuba at this Year’s Party For the Parks
This year’s Party for the Parks celebration will provide a small slice of Cuban culture as the Charleston Parks Conservancy transforms Colonial Lake into a Havana street party on Saturday, November 4th at 6 pm.
Early-bird tickets are on sale now and will be available through October 1st. Both general admission and VIP tickets are available. Visit www.PartyfortheParks.com for more information.
The Conservancy will recreate Cuba’s most famous seaside avenue, the Malecón, and offer Cuban-inspired music, food, art, street performers, and more. Guests are encouraged to dress for a Cuban fiesta. The party also includes a silent auction and raffle. You can purchase raffle tickets at the event or in advance for a chance to win a new Carolina Skiff 198 DLV from Marine Warehouse (retail value $36,990). Raffle tickets are $100 each and only 350 will be sold. The winner will be announced at Party for the Parks, but you do not need to be present to win.
Through a public-private partnership, the Conservancy works with the City of Charleston and community organizations, neighborhoods and engaged citizens to transform and activate the city’s parks and green spaces.
