Lowcountry Food Bank Invites You to Turn Orange on Thursday
On Thursday, September 14th, the Lowcountry Food Bank will turn orange in an effort to raise awareness for the more than 200,000 people in the Lowcountry facing hunger. The effort is part of Hunger Action Month, a nationwide awareness campaign held in September that is designed to mobilize the public to take action on the issue of hunger.
The Lowcountry Food Bank wants to make sure that no child, adult, or senior in our community has an empty plate, but they’ll need assistance from the community.

Join them on Thursday by wearing orange and donating here. Any amount helps, as the Lowcountry Food Bank says every $1 provides food for 6 meals!
