On Tuesday, September 19th at 5 pm, Walk Away Stays will host “Barre’ks and Bubbly,” a barre class benefiting The Charleston Animal Society. The event will be held on the open rooftop of 563 King, a boutique hotel located above Höm on Upper King Street.

The class will be taught by Barre South and will incorporate ballet, Pilates, and yoga to strengthen and tone muscles.

In light of the recent hurricane, Walk Away Stays and Barre South have decided to donate the proceeds of from this event to the Charleston Animal Society to assist with the costs of pet evacuation from hurricane-affected areas.

The Charleston Animal Society helped relocate hundreds of animals from shelters in the path of Hurricane Irma and is still working to evacuate animals from areas affected by flooding.

The barre class will be followed by light bites and a complimentary glass of bubbly.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here. Participants are asked to provide their own yoga mats
