The Shrimp on the Barbie Shrimp Throwdown Returns on 10/1
The second annual Shrimp on the Barbie Festival will be held on Saturday, October 1st on Haborside Beach at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina. The event will run from 1 pm to 5 pm.
The family-friendly celebration will feature local shrimp dishes prepared by Lowcountry chefs. Local Shrimp will be provided by Shem Creek Fisheries from Mt. Pleasant, whose mission is to support the Shem Creek Commercial Fisherman, their families, and crew. A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to group.
Besides watching the competition, attendees will enjoy live music, local beer, spirits, inflatables, and plenty of food.
